Army Spc. Nick Idalski, 23, Crown Point, Indiana.
Killed June 21, 2005 along with two other U.S. soldiers, during a gunfight in Iraq . The three were killed during combat operations west of Baghdad near the insurgent stronghold of Ramadi.
Idalski, who graduated from Crown Point High School in 2001, enlisted less than two years ago. He was killed in combat just one month before he was scheduled to return home.
A member of the Army's 2nd Infantry Division, Idalski had been stationed in Ramadi since August. He was due to return home in July, according to his stepfather, Rick Greenberg.
